No account required! ForgeLight works completely offline and doesn't collect any personal information. Simply download the app and start creating immediately.

This is part of our privacy-first approach—we can't access your data because we never collect it in the first place.

1. Open ForgeLight after downloading from the App Store
2. Tap the text field and describe what you want to create
3. Choose an art style (optional) from the style picker
4. Tap "Generate" and wait 1-2 seconds for your image
5. Save or share your creation directly from the app

Try starting with simple prompts like "a sunset over mountains" or "a cozy coffee shop" to get familiar with the app.

Yes, completely offline! Once ForgeLight is installed, you can:

• Generate images on flights
• Create art in remote locations
• Use the app without any internet connection
• Avoid data usage charges

This is a major advantage over cloud-based AI services that require constant internet connectivity.

Generation times can vary based on several factors:

• Device temperature: If your iPhone is warm, processing may slow down to prevent overheating
• Battery level: Low battery can reduce Neural Engine performance
• Background apps: Close other apps to free up processing power
• Complex prompts: Very detailed descriptions may take slightly longer

Solutions: Let your device cool down, charge your battery, close background apps, or try simpler prompts.

Try these troubleshooting steps in order:

1. Force close and reopen the app
2. Restart your iPhone to clear memory
3. Check available storage - you need at least 2GB free
4. Update to the latest version from the App Store
5. Update iOS if a newer version is available

If issues persist, contact our support team with your device model and iOS version.

This is usually a permissions issue:

1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos
2. Find ForgeLight in the app list
3. Select "Add Photos Only" or "Full Access"
4. Return to ForgeLight and try saving again

You can also manually save images by tapping the share button and selecting "Save to Photos".

Good prompts are descriptive but focused:

• Be specific: "A golden retriever playing in a sunny park" vs "a dog"
• Include style details: "watercolor painting of..." or "photorealistic..."
• Mention lighting: "sunset lighting", "soft natural light", "dramatic shadows"
• Add mood: "peaceful", "energetic", "mysterious", "cozy"
• Keep it under 50 words for best results

Example: "A cozy coffee shop interior with warm lighting, wooden furniture, plants on windowsills, and steam rising from a coffee cup on the counter"

ForgeLight includes multiple art styles:

• Photorealistic: Lifelike, detailed images
• Digital Art: Modern, clean digital illustration style
• Oil Painting: Classic painted artwork appearance
• Watercolor: Soft, flowing watercolor effects
• Sketch: Hand-drawn, pencil sketch style

Pro subscribers get access to additional premium styles and can combine multiple styles in one generation.

ForgeLight includes built-in content filtering to ensure appropriate use:

• Specific real people: ❌ Names of celebrities, politicians, or private individuals
• Inappropriate content: ❌ Filtered automatically

Subscriptions are managed through Apple:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Find ForgeLight and tap it
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period, then automatically return to the free tier.
